Syria and Iran - Take Your Pick

The King of Jordan weighs in by implicating Iran in the Iraq quagmire. More specifically, he is afraid of the power of the Shiites. The King also talks about a "new crescent" of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Iran. Hey sounds just like W and his Axis of Evil. Stoke those fires against Iran, and throw in Syria and Lebanon.

Also today another report comes out that Syria is a base for Sadaam loyalists. Baathists are directing insurgents from Syria.

This is very interesting. We now have a two-pronged attack. We are blaming Syria for the very secular Baathist insurgnecy, and we (or W's puppet) is blaming Iran and Shiites for the religious fervor that so many fear. Either way we have reasons for actions against Syria and Iran. Coming up with so many different reasons of why we should "watch" Iran and Syria really paints a picture of W looking for a "smoking gun." Either way it is true to the neo-con vision.

But when will FOX, other media and our fearless leaders come clean and talk about the differences in "terrorists" and "insurgents"? When will they have a true discussion with the American people about the "wars" in Iraq and Afghanistan? When will they come clean and tell us what their real goals for the region are?
