Mother Nature....

As Katrina is barrelling down on New Orleans we have to stop and marvel at the wonder, majesty and power of Mother Earth. News of Iraq and Crawford are put on the backburner today and probably for the next couple of days. While we are glued watching the track of the storm, remember the deaths caused by senseless wars.
I was in N.O. a few years ago and loved it. Hope all will be well, but it is "below sea level!".
IN reality, we are all just leasing our land from Mother. When the lease is up, she will reclaim the shores, the river banks, the oceans, the forests. This should make all think carefully about construction in coastal areas, flood plains... It should make all realize that we have to understand Nature and live with all nature rather than try to control it. Let us live in harmony with Mother Earth.
