Rudy and Bernie go down in flames

New York Daily News has uncovered some other reasons why Bernie stepped down from the process for Homeland Security top mucky-muck. Seems he had some not-very-nice financial dealings.

I'm not shedding any tears, but I am wondering who in W's regime was responsible for vetting Bernie. Well they can always blame Powell - he already is being blamed for the Iraq mess, add this to his resume too. Add it even if it is not true. That has never stopped W and company before.
