Scrounging

CBS New York News: National Wire reports on reservists court-martialed for scrounging parts, etc. Very interesting the timing of this and the question asked of Rummy.

So to those who are up-in-arms that a reporter was the one that planted the question, I say "thank God he did." From this court-martial, the cheers of the troops who heard the question, and other reports of inadequate supplies, the question will never be who asked or composed the question. The real question is why are the troops ill-equipped? Why are they court-martialed while trying to use every scrap of metal to stay protected? Why did Rummy act as if he hadn't heard of the scavenging and scrounging?
