Rumsfeld Makes Surprise Visit to Iraq

Santa arrived early in Iraq today when Rummy dropped in for a surprise visit. Nice huh?

He is being pulled in so many directions, making mistakes left and right - bad answers, not signing letters of sympathy.... Repugs turning away from him. But wait, up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, it's Newt-man. Gingrich lays the success(?) of the Aghani election at the feet of Rummy. It was Rummy's plan that brought Afghan to a successful(?) election process, according to the Newt.

All this is the regime's attempt to keep Rummy alive. To prove he has a heart, to show that he is a "good human being who cares deeply about the military and deeply about the grief that war causes." So he doesn't have all the right answers and his pen runs out of ink... but he " stays awake at night worrying about soldiers and their families and shares their grief over lost loved ones." A real humane human. It brings a tear to my eye.
